Metalworkers in Brazil march for jobs, wages

Brazilian metalworkers marched from Sao Paulo to the capital, Brasilia, in late October to demand the government take steps to create jobs and to demand a wage increase. Unemployment in Sao Paulo, Brazil's industrial center, is 17 percent, and in other metropolitan regions it has soared to the highest levels since the mid-1980s.
