London march demands
right to abortion
Militant/Alex Xezonakis

LONDON- Some 250 people rallied outside Parliament here July 9 to defend a woman’s right to choose abortion. The action was called to protest proposals to introduce mandatory pre-abortion counseling by outfits, including those opposed to women’s rights, not affiliated with abortion providers. These changes “will delay women getting the treatment they need, and they will expose them to biased and inaccurate counseling,” Darinka Aleksic from Abortion Rights told the rally.
