Corrections

 
Due to an editing error, the article “Emmett Till Lynching Spurred Fight that Overthrew Jim Crow” in the April 24 Militant says the issue of Jet magazine with the picture of Till in his open casket was passed around in author Ilona Gersh’s high school. It should have said it was passed around in her neighborhood.

The article “Puerto Rican University Students Rally Against Cuts” in the April 17 issue mistakenly said that the March 31 meeting of the U.S. appointed fiscal board was its first meeting in Puerto Rico. It was its third meeting there.
