Youth rebel in Brazilian jail
{photo box}
Youths held by riot cops at the Immigration
Detention Center in São Paulo, Brazil. Hundreds
of prisoners escaped from the juvenile prison
October 25, and at least four were reportedly
killed. The inmates were protesting overcrowded
conditions in the jail, which was designed for
350 prisoners but houses about 1,300 people.
