Postal workers in West Lothian, Scotland, picket postal outlet during May 22 one-day strike to protest the closure of Broxburn sorting office. This was the second such stoppage over the issue by members of the Communication Workers Union, who have also enforced an overtime ban since May 3. The 37 workers handed out leaflets to passers-by. “We have had very strong public support,” worker and union representative Joe Dunnigan told the Militant.
