MINNEAPOLIS—Protests calling for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq were held March 18 in cities around the world to mark the third anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion and occupation of that country. Among the largest protests—drawing thousands—were those in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Marches also took place in other countries, from the United Kingdom to Turkey.
