BOSTONWe need to focus on full legalization for all 12 million undocumented workers, said Jesse Díaz (above, third from right) during an August 25 program here on Which Way Forward for the Immigrant Rights Movement that drew 40 people. His four-day tour of this area was initiated by the Boston May Day Coalition, an immigrant rights group. Díaz is a co-founder of the Los Angeles March 25 Coalition, which helped mobilize hundreds of thousands in Los Angeles and joined in calling the nationwide May 1 strike to demand legal status for all immigrants. At an event in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Díaz was joined by local school board member Martina Cruz, who urged those present to attend the September 7 march on Washington for immigrant rights.
