NEW YORK—About 1,000 people rallied at Union Square Park in Manhattan and then marched to Times Square October 21. The protesters demanded legalization for all undocumented immigrants and an end to deportations. They also opposed the wall that Washington is expanding along the U.S.-Mexico border. Dozens of immigrant rights, community, and other organizations sponsored the action.
