Support the Repeal of the U.S. Travel Restrictions
to Cuba
and the U.S. Economic Embargo
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists supports the efforts to end the travel restrictions on Americans seeking to visit Cuba, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That CBTU call upon Congress to initiate legislation that would repeal the economic and political embargo against the Republic of Cuba and broaden diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED:
That CBTU call upon the Cuban government to release all political prisoners, including trade unionists, and that the U.S. government release the Cuban Four being held in the U.S. and enter into a dialogue with regard to broadening human and workers rights.
