Catharina Tirsén presented Cosmetics, Fashion, and the Exploitation of Women at April 15 program and book-signing. Tirsén’s talk helped “me understand that capitalism is the root of women’s oppression today,” said audience member who’d bought book and begun reading it. Women’s liberation, Tirsén said, can only be won through class solidarity and struggle along road to the working class winning state power.
