East coast tour of Griselda Aguilera, veteran of 1961 Cuban Literacy Campaign

Hear Griselda Aguilera, a participant in 1961 mass campaign that taught Cuban workers and farmers to read and write, and transformed the volunteers, so they could build the revolution. Screenings of “Maestra,” film by Catherine Murphy documenting literacy drive, will be shown during the tour.  Sponsored by Cuba solidarity organizations and activists on the East Coast.
